GLORIOUSLY INCREDIBLE! Now if you could go onto Youtube and make Lugnut's transformation sequence from robot to vehicle and vice versa I will consider you a God! But do you think you can do another art piece for his friend Blitzwing or Astrotrain or maybe BRUTICUS!
I dunno, Lugnut seems more like a Tupolev ANT-40 (AKA the Tupolev SB) than a B-29, but you won't find any in active use today. The last ones were retired in 1950, from the Spanish air force of all things.
He looks... glorious. I wouldn't mind seeing him in movie 3. Seconded, everything about the details, and the ease of telling what goes where, and it being instantly recognizable as Lugnut (movies should try that. I can't tell who's who except for Optimus half the time!)
This is very nice work. As others have noted previously, it both conforms to the Movie Decepticons' style and is also instantly recognizable as Lugnut. More than that, it's a suitably imposing design AND one that's easy to follow what ends up where. I also like the choice of alt mode; we really need more WWII aircraft Transformers. I also like all the minor details you put into this design, like the little rivets and mechanical details all over him. The little touches like the rusty-looking joints and faded Air Force logos just make it that much more 'authentic'.
All in all, this is a great piece. Thanks for sharing it!
